This Is Where It Ends by Cindy K. Sproles follows the journey of Minerva, an elderly woman with gumption, to find the answer to that question. Minerva knows her time on earth is short but she wants some answers. Her only request of God is don’t let her die alone. God answers her request in an unexpected way that takes her and the reader down a winding road of memories with some twists and turns just like the beautiful but rugged terrain of the Appalachian Mountains of the early 1900’s. The description makes you feel like you were walking alongside the river with Minerva Jane, and the characterization makes you wish you could meet her in person. This is a book worth savoring. This book is sure generating a lot of buzz. Am going to be reading it this year for sure. Thanks Ms. Linda.
I LOVED this book! I smiled, I giggled and I cried. Well worth the read, for sure!
